home check

Home Checks are a requirement for new adopters wishing to take on a Dachshund that has been surrendered to the charity for rehoming.

The visit will take place when a new adopter has been identified and we are satisfied that the adopter is able to provide a loving home where all the dogs needs will be met.

At the time of the visit the volunteer will need to check your home to ensure it is suitable for the Dachshund you are wishing to take on. We ask that all members of the family are present and also any existing dogs and other pets.

New adopters will need to provide details of 2 referees that the charity is able to contact.
