Finding your Dachshund a loving new home

Here at Suloti we understand how difficult it can be to consider giving up your Dachshund. We will help you to make the decision that is right for your beloved dog and for you. If you are considering rehoming your Dachshund due to behavioural concerns we may be able to suggest avenues of support that could help you to keep your companion.

If you decide that you need to give up your dog we will do our very best to find a suitable, loving home that can provide the conditions your pet needs. We work with owners and applicants looking to adopt, taking heed of their situation and the needs of the dog looking for a new home to ensure we make the best possible match for both parties.

We normally ask that your Dachshund remains in its current home whilst awaiting a new home as this provides more stability for your pet at this difficult time. Our preference is for dogs to go straight to a new home without an intermediate placement. Every dog is different but most Dachshunds adapt to their new permanent home within a reasonable length of time.

Once your dog has gone to its new home we keep in close contact to ensure that they are settling down. If you wish to receive updates and photos we are happy to pass them on to you.

At the end of the day we want your dog to be happy and also you to feel secure in the knowledge that your Dachshund is loved and settled!
